
On Thursday 15th of November 2007 a devastating cyclone hit the southern part of Bangladesh. over 1700 people died, 15000 people were injured, many people are displaced and many are still missing.
Bangladesh has experienced many black outs during the cyclone. Roof tops fell off, bricks went flying, trees tore down, the power lines cut down and the many of the live stock died.

The deadly cyclone tore down houses in Bangladesh. People did not know the cyclone was coming because they lived in the parts where they had no communication at all. Imagine what it would feel like to have a sudden deadly storm hit your home.This map represents where the cyclone hit in Bangladesh. The storm was really big. Reports say that the cyclone traveled 131 miles per hour or 2l0 kilometers per hour!!!
