slide share is a web 2.0 application where you get to create your own power point presentation and post it on the web site. you need to create a slide share account and start publishing slide share account.
the good thing about slide share is that you can share your very own power point presentations with other people.

My five accounts

The reasons for having the following five accounts (wikispaces, e mac, first class, igoogle and blogger) are...

Wikispaces: wikispaces is a web 2.0 where you get to post your own web pages. I think that wikispaces is a useful account to have because you can use it to follow instructions for your lessons. you can use it at anywhere you go that is only if you have a laptop or a computer with internet connection.
E mac: An e mac account is important because you can have a private desktop where you can customize your own background, screen savers, folders and some other stuff. you can't use an e mac account unless your using the computer which has the e mac account for example i can't use an e mac account on a samsung pc computer.
First class: First class accounts have nothing to do with air planes... so a first class account is useful because you can do instant messaging just like a MSN.
Igoogle : Igoogle accounts are useful because you can have your own web with fun games and tabs. it also has a password to keep things safe.
Blogger: For blogger you need to sign in through igoogle and then go to blogger. on blogger you can post your own articles for other people to look at and give feedback to you.

The Sidr

On Thursday 15th of November 2007 a devastating cyclone hit the southern part of Bangladesh. over 1700 people died, 15000 people were injured, many people are displaced and many are still missing.
Bangladesh has experienced many black outs during the cyclone. Roof tops fell off, bricks went flying, trees tore down, the power lines cut down and the many of the live stock died.

The deadly cyclone tore down houses in Bangladesh. People did not know the cyclone was coming because they lived in the parts where they had no communication at all. Imagine what it would feel like to have a sudden deadly storm hit your home.

This map represents where the cyclone hit in Bangladesh. The storm was really big. Reports say that the cyclone traveled 131 miles per hour or 2l0 kilometers per hour!!!

The basketball match

I'm in a basketball team and I had a match coming up in 2 days.
Well every Monday and Wednesday we (or team) got together with the team and practiced layups, free throws and practiced the basic things of basket ball.
There were 3 teams, team A, team B, and team C. I was in team C it was a mixture of 6t hand 7th graders. On the day of our match we were warmed up and ready to go!!!
Me and my friend were substitutes we were waiting for our turn. While we were waiting the first five players scored 30 points while the other team scored only 2 points. After about 6 minutes the score was about 32 to 4. On the change we scored 4 more goals which gave us 8 more points which led to 38 points. At halftime we were surprised to see the opposing side leave i don't really know why the left it was very unusual.
It was really weird to see the other team just leave, but the good things is we won the match.
